The Pendle Witches England 1600'sBook 3 of 7 Elizabeth DeviceThe books are fictionally based on the true names and part facts of seven of the accused witches involved being sentenced to death mostly, although innocent, and is as follows:Elizabeth Device, a struggling widow in 1600s Lancashire, fought to protect her family after her daughter Alizon was accused of cursing a peddler. As whispers of witchcraft grew, Elizabeth's world collapsed—her mother, Old Demdike, died in prison, and her son James spoke recklessly of spirits. A family gathering at Malkin Tower was twisted into tales of a witches' sabbath by fearful neighbors. The final blow came when Elizabeth's nine-year-old daughter Jennet, likely coerced, testified against her in court, describing imaginary familiars and curses. Despite a spectral dog's offer of freedom in exchange for Jennet's life, Elizabeth refused to betray her child, even as the noose tightened around her neck. On August 20, 1612, she was hanged at Lancaster Castle, her dying words a curse not on Jennet, but on the injustice that turned daughter against mother. Her story endures as a haunting reminder of the Pendle witch trials' cruellest betrayal. This is the third book in a series of seven audiobooks and I do hope you "enjoy" ,might not be the appropriate word, this third instalment, and it's only $3 dollars.I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes plus, called Haunting Elegy, uses flute and harp to set the scene of witches living life as they could. The closing music ends in a sad way, called Melancholy same instrumental at nearly 3 minutes as the fate that befalls these innocent people awaits them.! The story itself runs to about 14 minutes, and and is narrated in my own voice.I do hope you and enjoy this audiobook , there are a lot more to come!Christopher Allen at your service

YOUNG BLACKBEARD THE PIRATE PORT OF BRISTOL 1690Book 3 of 6 – The curse of the lemonade standHere is the summary description of this book:In 1690s Bristol, young Edward Teach—the boy who would become the infamous pirate Blackbeard—leads his crew in a daring lemonade stand scheme at the bustling High Cross market. Using stolen sugar and Anne Bonny’s over-sweetened brew, they attract sailors and merchants alike—until a rival vendor accuses them of sugar theft, a crime punishable by transportation. Facing the constable, Edward spins a tale of the "Sugar Witch," a Barbados hag who curses their lemonade, and sells "anti-curse" potions (dyed with stolen cochineal) to the superstitious crowd. The deception works, earning them enough coin for future adventures while showcasing Edward’s early knack for manipulation and theatrics—traits that would later define Blackbeard’s reign of terror. The story blends historical details of Bristol’s sugar trade and maritime culture with a playful origin for history’s most notorious pirate, proving even legends start small. This is the third of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy this instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price.I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, accordion, fiddle, harmonica and bango in a classical sea shanty jig. The closing music ends the tale on a similar jig and at about 2 minutes with the same musical instruments but more upbeat looking forward to the next episode. THE GIRL BROWNIES – ASHDOWN FOREST, ENGLAND 1919Book 3 of 6 The Secret of the Whispering WoodsThe summary of this third book in the series is as follows:In October 1919, the Brownies—Lulu, Minnie, Lottie, Agatha, Bernadette, and Beryl—embark on a moonlit meteor-watching hike in Ashdown Forest. Their adventure takes a supernatural turn when whispers guide them to a hidden stone circle, where eerie phenomena unfold: cracking monoliths, sentient mist, and ghostly visions. With archaeologist Dr. Eleanor Finch, they uncover the circle's secrets—an ancient Druid observatory using piezoelectric stones and sound channels to create "ghostly" projections.Deciphering Saxon clues, the girls find buried crown jewels tied to King Harold, while scientific explanations (infrasound, ley lines) blend with local folklore about whispering spirits. Minnie's discovery of a royal artifact proves the stones guarded Harold's lost treasure. Though science explains much, the forest's final whisper—"More secrets await..."—hints at deeper mysteries.I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music, “Joyful Journey”, which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, recorder, tambourine, guitar and accordion in a folk/classical and cheerful mood. The closing music, “Bloom”, ends the tale on with more of the same at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments etc. but more of an ending feel and looking forward to the next story in the series. The story and music itself runs to just about 14 minutes and is narrated in my wife's voice, Claire, who actually was a ranger guide! The Syndicate, led by Darius Kane, attacks, seeking to weaponize this power. Chiron imprints Minerva with celestial runes, showing her visions of a cosmic arrow—the only weapon capable of sealing Nyx. As the Library collapses, Minerva’s team escapes, pursued by Kane’s centaur-hybrid drones. The runes guide them toward the Horsehead Nebula, where the arrow is hidden. With the Syndicate closing in and Nyx’s corruption spreading, Minerva must master her new connection to the Sagittari or risk annihilation. But years of hardship turned her into a bitter outcast. When a devastating drought struck, her desperate plea to the spirits brought not salvation, but a flood—and with it, accusations of witchcraft. Betrayed by her former friend Demdike and cornered by a starving village, Chattox confessed to a devil’s pact to save her daughter, Anne Redferne, from execution. Condemned as a witch, she faced the gallows with defiance, whispering to the earth itself: "The earth remembers me." Her death did not silence her. To this day, her spirit lingers on Pendle Hill, a ghostly reminder of injustice, her voice carried by the wind—a cunning woman who refused to be forgotten. Mars the WarningBook 3 of 6 – the fractured alliance. This completely new third story in the series I have written is summarized below; As humanity fractures over how to respond to the awakened Martians, Dr. Lin Mei’s diplomatic faction attempts peaceful communication, while General Drake’s militarists launch devastating attacks. Lin’s team deciphers Martian signals, learning of their ancient civilization and the pain caused by human terraforming. But Drake’s assault provokes a brutal retaliation—crystalline weapons dismantle human outposts. When Drake prepares to annihilate Mars with the Dreadnought’s orbital lance, Lin and her allies stage a mutiny aboard Olympus Station. In a zero-gravity showdown, Lin disables the weapon, but not before the Martians unleash their final warning: towering spires that render Mars uninhabitable for humans. Escaping with a handful of survivors, Lin receives a cryptic star map—a Martian offering of a new world, on the condition humanity never returns. As Earth’s exodus begins, Mars transforms, its surface shimmering with alien rebirth. The survivors carry forward a fragile hope: coexistence may yet be possible, but only by respecting boundaries older than humankind itself. This is the third of six audiobooks in the series, the others will be in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this third one, and its only $3.I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 plus minutes sets the scene, so to speak, this is heavy metal first but give it a chance and you will be surprised (I felt the martian beings would be extremely angry over humans trying to steal their planet hence the sound) ends with a warning sound music track like an alarm as the next episode will see them emerge to do battle, 1 minutes plus. The book itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
