This book is based on an eleven-year observation of two children who were simultaneously exposed to three languages from birth. Guillaume Sabin est ethnologue, investi dans différentes expériences autogérées. Il est l’auteur de La Joie du dehors, essai de pédagogie sociale (Libertalia, 2019) et de L’Archipel des égaux, luttes en terre argentine (PUR, 2014).

Avec la publication de L’Apostat [The Apostate, 1906], Libertalia poursuit son travail de retraduction de l’œuvre de Jack London. Dans cette nouvelle initialement publiée sous le titre Le Renégat, London dénonce le travail des enfants. Il y conte l’histoire de Johnny, 12 ans, qui s’échine à l’usine depuis son plus jeune âge pour faire vivre sa famille. Mais un matin, son corps ne répond plus. Si jeune et déjà prématurément usé, il décide de déserter l’armée du travail et de partir à la découverte du monde. Une révolte rimbaldienne teintée de naturalisme ; une nouvelle saisissante et insuffisamment connue. Jack London (1876-1916), écrivain américain, chantre des grands espaces et de la révolte.

Plus vivants que jamais est un texte écrit à chaud durant l’été 1968, qui parut initialement chez Robert Laffont, à l’automne, dans la collection « Contestation ». Il se présente comme le carnet de bord d’un jeune de 20 ans qui raconte au jour le jour les événements auxquels il participe avec sa bande de copains. Ils se déplacent sur toutes les lignes de front, de leur QG – le Quartier latin – à Flins, Montparnasse, les Champs-Élysées, etc. Paris est alors leur ZAD. Le texte déroule les événements, s’attache aux faits, aux actions, aux assemblées générales, aux barricades, aux occupations d’usine… L’écriture est brève, tendue, à l’image de cette jeunesse prise dans un tourbillon. Pierre Peuchmaurd écrira plus tard : « On écrit comme on respire, c’est-à-dire comme on étouffe. » Pierre Peuchmaurd (1948-2009), poète surréaliste, ancien émeutier des années 68.

« Je me trouve dans cette mouvance que j'appelle l'outre-gauche depuis 1967 et aujourd’hui mes jeunes camarades me considèrent comme une de leurs ancêtres politiques. C’est un peu vexant certes, parce qu’on ne se voit pas vieillir, mais cela ne me semblait pas bien grave jusqu’à ce que je sois sommée de dévoiler tous ces événements des années 68 que nous leur aurions cachés, et d’éclairer ou contrer ainsi le récit dominant de cette période avant qu’il ne soit trop tard. Il est vrai que notre histoire risque bel et bien de sombrer dans l’oubli. Ce n’est pas en solo que j’avais envie de rendre compte de cette aventure collective […]. Ils sont trente à avoir accepté ma démarche ; en mai 68 ils étaient à Paris, à Marseille, à Toulouse, à Bordeaux, à Lyon, à Nantes, à Angers ou à Strasbourg. » Née en 1947 à Marseille, de parents émigrés russes. Ayant grandi dans un milieu libertaire, Lola Miesseroff avait 19 ans lorsqu’elle a lu De la misère en milieu étudiant. À la suite de sa rencontre avec les idées de l'Internationale situationniste, elle quitte rapidement l’université, « lieu d’ennui et d’abrutissement », pour opter pour la lutte et la critique sociales. Depuis, elle n’a cessé de participer aux divers mouvements et à nombre de collectifs de discussion, d’édition.

Les Bérus ont vieilli, se sont mis à chanter Mineurs en danger plutôt que Vive le feu, comme NTM a fini sur Pose ton gun après Qu’est-ce qu’on attend pour ne plus suivre les règles du jeu ? Toute fièvre se négocie finalement. » Cara Zina vit aujourd'hui à Nancy où elle est institutrice. Elle a déjà publié "Handi Gang" chez Libertalia (collection poche).
