ALICE'S WONDERLAND ADVENTURE Alice in Wonderland – Retold, Reimagined & Reinvented The summary of this audiobook is as follows:Seven-year-old Alice follows her younger brother William (nicknamed the White Rabbit for his obsession with time) into a hidden door in their garden hedge, tumbling into Wonderland—a surreal world where her family embodies fantastical roles. Her father is the Mad Hatter, her mother the tyrannical Queen of Hearts, and William the frantic White Rabbit. Guided by a Cheshire Cat and talking flowers, Alice navigates absurd challenges, including a chaotic croquet match with the Queen and a trial over a missing strawberry from a royal tart (secretly stolen by William to aid her escape).Throughout her journey, Alice learns that Wonderland is a reflection of her family’s hidden quirks: her father’s creativity flourishes as the Hatter, her mother’s strictness magnifies as the Queen, and William’s punctuality defines his rabbit persona. After outwitting the Queen’s wrath with help from the Dormouse and her brother, Alice climbs back through the rabbit hole, returning to her ordinary life—but with a strawberry and a tiny blue hat as proof her adventure was real. The story blends whimsy with deeper themes of identity, family dynamics, and the blurred line between reality and imagination, offering a fresh twist on the classic Alice in Wonderland tale. The initial opening credit music is modern, upbeat with female vocals lasting about 3 minutes with the instrumental closing music about the same jazz funk genre. The story and music itself runs to nearly 1 hour and is narrated by claire francis, my wife.I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to comeChristopher Allen - At your service

‘King Matthew the First’ is firmly established in the canon of world classics for children. Written in 1922, this children's novel tells the adventures of a ten-year-old prince who suddenly inherits the throne from his father. At first the boy submits himself to old royal customs and to the influence of the incumbent ministers. However, he soon decides to prove to the world and to himself his independence and courage, reaching out to standards repeatedly set by his heroic ancestry. So, when war breaks out, with his friend Felix, Matthew disguises himself as a common soldier and joins the fight. The life at the front teaches him humility, resolve, emotional self-control, resourcefulness and the price of true friendship. After a triumphant return from the war, Matthew feels that has already acquired enough experience and wisdom to break free from the control of his mentors and advisors and…to govern. He chooses his allies and friends, including King Bum-Drum. In his dream of a fair state, he introduces many bold reforms. Yet, he commits the unfortunate mistake of bringing to life a governing assembly run by adults and children with equal prerogatives. This too far-reaching reform unites his enemies and weakens his country. Foreign powers take advantage of the situation and attack King Matthew’s kingdom. This time, despite a brave defense, Matthew is defeated and judged. He is sentenced to death, but the punishment is mitigated at the last minute and turned into an exile on a desert island.‘Little King Matthew’ is one of the most famous children's novels in the world. It has been translated into dozens of languages and repeatedly adapted for movies. This limited series edition has been created in memory of the prestigious Polish publication from 1955, which was illustrated by George Srokowski—one of the best Polish graphic artists of the twentieth century. The author of this Polish novel, Janusz Korczak (the pen name of Henryk Goldszmit, 1878-1942), is a prominent Polish-Jewish writer. He was famous not only for his novels—he was also a pediatrician, educator and social activist. He became famous as a theoretician and practitioner in the field of Education. He was the inventor of an original system of working with children, which was based on partnership, self-governing institutions and procedures, and the promotion of self-education. As a researcher delving in the child’s world, he pioneered the development of educational diagnostic activities and became a precursor of children’s rights.Janusz Korczak was a co-founder and director of the orphanage for Jewish children in Warsaw (1912-1942) which was moved in 1940 to the Warsaw Ghetto. Until the last moment, he remained with the orphans. He died a martyr’s death in the Treblinka extermination camp.

Young victor frankenstein and his creations Book 5 of 6 – melody maker finds her voice the trip to geneva summary of this fifth book in the series is as follows::Victor Frankenstein and his creations travel to Geneva for the Young Inventors' Exhibition, where Melody Maker—Victor’s musical automaton—hopes to find her unique voice. Nervous about performing, Melody trains with Professor Harmonia, learning to embrace her mechanical sounds rather than imitate traditional instruments. Disaster strikes when an accident damages her timing mechanism, leaving her music chaotic. During the exhibition, her friends—Nutty Bolt, Whirly Gig, Tick Tock, and Stella Spark—improvise a rhythmic foundation, inspiring Melody to weave her "flaws" into a groundbreaking new musical style. The audience is captivated by this "Mechanical Music," and Melody realizes her true purpose: bringing joy through her authentic voice. Victor offers to fix her mechanism, but Melody chooses to stay imperfect—her uniqueness now her strength. The adventure teaches her that true artistry lies not in perfection, but in embracing what makes you different. The initial opening credit is operatic in style with both male and female vocals paying homage to the late 18th century when victor lived and runs to approximately 3 minutes. The closing music has both an element of classic and current music to add a bit of excitement to the end for the listening children. The story and music itself runs to just under 40 MINUTES and is narrated in the voice of claire francis, my wife.I do hope you enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to comeChristopher Allen - At your service

Young victor frankenstein and his creations Book 6 of 6 – NUTTY BOLTS BIG SURPRISE VICTORS BIRTHDAY PARTY summary of this SIXTH AND FINAL book in the series is as follows::Victor Frankenstein’s ninth birthday approaches, and Nutty Bolt—Victor’s first, imperfect creation—leads the others in planning a surprise party. As Whirly Gig delivers invitations, Stella Spark decorates with light displays, and Melody Maker composes music, Nutty secretly builds a "Family Portrait Machine" to capture their found family. When Victor accidentally discovers the project, he helps Nutty perfect it, sharing heartfelt memories of creating him. At the party, surrounded by villagers who once feared them, the creations celebrate how far they’ve come. Nutty’s gift—a portrait of their unconventional family—moves Victor to tears. He announces plans to expand the castle, giving each creation their own space and hinting at new additions to their mechanical family. That night, Nutty calls Victor "Father" for the first time, cementing their bond. The story closes with Victor reflecting on how his greatest invention isn’t machinery, but the love they’ve built together. The initial opening credit is operatic in style with both male and female vocals paying homage to the late 18th century when victor lived and runs to approximately 3 minutes.
